Tech Support - Windows 10 yellow screen problem

    Windows 10 yellow screen problem

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 03:05 AM PST

My laptop's( running windows 10) screen keeps getting yellowish. I watched some youtube videos and they suggest me to make some changes in color management. I tried using their suggestions and added ICC profile sRGB IEC61966-2.1(default) and it actually worked. But after few minutes the screen again turned yellowish. So everyday i have to repeat the same process( as suggested on yt) to solve yellow screen problem. What should i do for permanent solution?

How do massive screens for stages and presentations work?

    Posted: 18 Jan 2020 02:04 AM PST

Pretty much the title. How do those massive screens for events like E3 work? Are they LCD or LED or whatever? If they are how do they output so many pixels and stay smooth?

If it isn't obvious already I don't know much about monitors/screens.

    Help answer me a riddle...

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 06:07 PM PST

I'm not quite in marital bliss at the moment.

My wife's pc had not had a wondershare phone wipe program as long as I can remember, then there was one. She claims it downloaded and installed automatically.

I don't buy it. Is there any chance that something like this could happen accidentally?

    Thanks.

My graphics card is Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620 and I have 8gb of RAM.

I only have 128mb VRAM atm, I'd like to get to 512, or 1024 if possible. Can someone walk me through changing this?

If my laptop charger got wet(water fell on it) while it was charging could anything potentially happen to my laptop.

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 12:00 PM PST

So it was plugged in and the charger block was soaked in water for nearly an hour while it was still plugged in my laptop, the laptop opened normally but I just wanted to check could anything like a spark have reached the laptop and might cause future damage.

Im sorry if im not making sense im really tired but I just wanted to make sure before going to sleep.

Help with dual monitors and 2 different game consoles!

    Posted: 17 Jan 2020 09:26 AM PST

I, for the life of me, cannot figure this out on my own, and I would really much appreciate any advice or input.

I have 2 monitors, ones a 32 inch (1 HDMI port) and ones 27 inch (2 HDMI ports). I also have an Xbox One and a PS4. I would like to use the 27 inch strictly for gaming only, and use the 32 inch strictly for streaming/DVDs.

My goal is simple: I want to have the liberty of turning on one system to play on the 27 inch, while simultaneously turning on the other console on the 32 inch to watch something without manually plugging and unplugging. (i.e. I am in the mood for PS4, so I turn on the PS4 on the 27inch. I then turn on the Xbox to watch Netflix on the 32 inch).

I do own a 3 Port HDMI switch with a button. But I cannot figure this out! Please help!
