Phone making loud eery/screeching noise when on loud speaker

It sounds like an interference or something UFO like but whenever I call people, any phone that's on loudspeaker produces this sound incredibly loud high pitch sound.

What are the conditions that my telegram group and messages will get deleted?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 09:34 PM PDT

I saw that if a group has no active messages in 6 months, it gets deleted. I am creating telegram groups to store some my files. I am planning to create 2 users(myself with different phone numbers) and keep messaging myself from one number to another to make the group active.

Will still my group get deleted?

Is there a way to block Xbox game chat?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 05:12 PM PDT

Long story short my brother is special needs and enjoys the online social interaction with other players (Minecraft, Fortnite, and a few other games) but he can get himself into trouble with the ability to text other players from the actual Xbox Home Screen I haven't been able to find a way to stop him from being able to text other players but still play online with them any thoughts? I can run VMs for any software based blocking or go for a full on hardware firewall?

Do the old BM1380 mining chips have any possible application outside of cryptocurrency mining?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 07:01 PM PDT

Obviously the 64 BM1380s in an AntMiner S1 aren't going to be doing anything useful for anyone if they're used for their original purpose. Can they be used for anything else, (and I mean ANYTHING else) or are they effectively useless now?

One IP Subnet Across Multiple Sites

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 04:11 PM PDT

Ok, so to start off here is an illustration of my setup. I have 3 locations that connect to a central hub. Each location has a set IP as it's own: 192.168.300.1/24 - Hub Location 192.168.301.1/24 - Location 1 192.168.302.1/24 - Location 2 192.168.303.1/24 - Location 3

All sites are connected with a site-to-site VPN and all IP ranges are exempted at each station allowed communication to all the IP ranges from the Hub. I want to create an IP range "192.168.200.1" that all stations will use for SIP, and another for cameras, another for guests, and so on. If I create the IP range on multiple locations then the UDM Pro at each location will try to DHCP the same IPs eventually. If I set the Hub UDM Pro as the DHCP server for that IP range when setting it up on the outlying locations will that work? Will it work through the VPN or do I need to use the public IP? Is there a name for this thing I am trying to create?

All IPs and such as just examples.

How much does it cost to building an in house communication for a company with 30 people?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 06:42 PM PDT

Want to have like own email and servers and stuff that we can securely communicate on. Don't trust security with large companies as they don't disclose hacks.

    Comfortable non-in-ear wireless earbuds?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 02:46 PM PDT

Can people recommend wireless earbuds that aren't in-ear in the sense of they don't have that typical rubber bit that's forced into your ear canal?

I prefer comfortable on-ear types. For example, the current ones I'm looking at are:

    Apple AirPod

    Huawei Freebuds 3

    Urbanista Stockholm Plus

I'm currently edging towards the Freebuds since they come in black and are cheaper. But, Huawei.. so not exactly a brand I consider wholly trustworthy.

EDIT: Added Urbanista Stockholm Plus. These actually look like a good option.

Recording via Phone for a long time

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 01:31 PM PDT

I've always wondered and was sure about this, but does long time video phone recordings (1h +) damage the phone in any way? Long term and short term, like battery life or anything else. I want to record myself for gameplays for 1h in general as my DSLR limit is 20 mins per video.

Does a Dynamic DNS work for the whole subnet?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 12:25 PM PDT

If I setup a dynamic DNS on my Desktop that gets periodically updated by an API call, does the address (like example.dyndns.com) point to my router or does it know that it was updated specifically from a PC in that subnet? For example, if I have a Raspberry on the same WiFi connection, can I access programs hosted there with the same DNS address?

Privacy concerns about the "People You May Know" feature on FB

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 10:05 AM PDT

    Hi!

I deactivated my facebook a year ago because I don't want some people to contact me.

Last year, when I had my own/main FB, I created another one called "Emily Emily" (my real name, no picture) just to play a game. Not for any other purposes. This account wasn't linked to my other social media accts, phone number and it was a completely different email address. Though I was seeing my friends on my main FB account appear on "People You May Know" and vice versa.

Now, I want to create an account to join a couple local groups but I don't want anyone from my main FB account to find me.

Please help me with this issue, I don't want people to reach me unless I let them know I have an account. (I will put up my picture, but since my old main FB, I've moved. So, I won't be adding many friends from my old one so people won't find me from mutual friends.)

    Thanks!

Worried about leaving the Apple ecosystem.

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro that I'm thinking of selling. I do a lot of filming and video editing, I use an iPhone 10 XS to do this. I want to get a better laptop for the money, but I'm worried about leaving the Apple ecosystem. How easy is it to use an iPhone with a PC? ... how Is your experience using an iPhone and a PC? Should I sell my iPhone as well and look for an alternative? ...

    LS41 Lucidsound Headset Issue

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 08:07 AM PDT

When the headset is twisted slightly, the headset will increase the sound dramatically. I believe this is a feature to compensate for the loss of one ear to hear through, though it could be a bug. Any way to turn this feature off?

why is there always inconsistent amounts of data to clear on my Device Care on my Galaxy S10+ ?

    Posted: 22 Oct 2020 07:32 AM PDT

I can be using it all day with multiple windows up on multiple search engines, along with several apps I'm using/copying & pasting etc & I'll have a tiny bit of data to be cleaned ,,

Yet when I put my passcode in when I wake up after my phone automatically restarts, I'll have like 2+ GB to clean & I haven't done anything for the last 12 hours except send a couple texts & watch a YT clip or 2 ..
