I want to have two different packages of tech, one for students who are new to online school and and advanced kit for the really capable tech crew. I'd love any suggestions you have on a simple/easy/affordable kits. I feel pretty good with my advanced tech tools but haven't been in the market for user-friendly tech in a while. | Posted: 05 Jun 2020 04:39 AM PDT Is there an up-to-date (software wise) cellphone around $400 that doesn't have the front facing camera plaguing the screen and that has good resolution that can play high quality videos on youtube (been stuck on lower qualities and want to try out 1080p and see some smooth fight scenes) with decent space (I download a lot of pdfs)? | Server motherboard with pci-e not displaying video output? Posted: 05 Jun 2020 12:22 AM PDT Hello! I've bought a chinese X79 KILISRE LGA 2011 motherboard just as an experiment. By default this motherboard dosnt have a vga display port because obvious reasons (its a server motherboard). But it has a pci-e port where i've put my rx 460. Now everything looks great but when I turn in it dosnt make a beep or w/e and dosnt display anything. There could be something configured badly? Is the motherboard dead? Im trying to boot it without CMOS battery I dont think this is the problem, also tried with different RAM or without any, but nothing. [link] [comments] |
| Posted: 04 Jun 2020 05:00 PM PDT hi i have been thinking about something i got a stock fan for my cpu a i5 7500 and right next to it is my exhaust fan i was just thinking, is my exhaust fan gonna compete for air to suck with my cpu cooler ? therefore making my temp worst ? if yes where should i move my only exhaust fan ? or should i just turn it into an intake to get more fresh air for my cpu cooler ????? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 01:38 PM PDT I won't deny the possibility that whatever technology is used to display targeted ads to me has improved greatly over the years but I swear it feels like in actual person is watching everything I do on my pc and phone. I'm mostly 'harassed' on twitter, facebook, or youtube, where videos titles will magically include a phrase said by someone in a show I was watching or something I said on the phone. Twitter's insane timeline feature will present me with things (from people I'm not following) related to activities I was doing offline. I usually keep my devices on Airplane mode when I'm working but even still they somehow have collected data from when I was working to throw right back at me. This is nuts! I hope I'm not going crazy. Now I'll probably receive ads harassing me about internet security and how much Google or my ISP knows about me or something like that. Sigh. Every time I plug or unplug the laptop from power the screen turns off for a brief second before coming right back on. Just wondering if that's normal or if I should return it. | What programs and equipment should I use to interview someone online? Posted: 04 Jun 2020 11:38 AM PDT basically title. I'm pretty tech savvy but don't know much of anything about audio/recording. Basically, I emailed a local government official about an issue and suggested we do an online interview. He agreed and it kind of hit me, I can plug up a headset and chat with friends, but I've never professionally interviewed someone before. what's the best program to record the interview? if I want the whole thing to go up on youtube, can I just start it and record it there, or even live stream it? Should I get a better microphone/headset or is my gaming headset/mic adequate? I appreciate any info/advice! [link] [comments] |
