Inspecting illegal video streaming site with Chrome inspector Posted: 16 May 2020 05:01 AM PDT One day out of curiousity I started inspecting illegal streaming site (putlocker, 123movies etc) using the Chrome inspector. Now, I found the Iframe player and I went to the source in the link and it links to.. another website. And after 5 or so hops, finally it links to the mp4 source itself. Then I got curious and listed down some questions:

Posted: 15 May 2020 07:24 PM PDT We lost my beloved 19 year old stepson in an accident 18 months ago. He was very active online - played Minecraft when he was in elementary/middle school, Vine videos, YouTube, SnapChat, etc. We know he made several usernames when he was younger that he hid from us so we are certain there are videos, photos, and undoubtedly other info that we don't have. Plus his friends were always sharing things online. How can we find all the digital footprints he left behind? We are not that tech savvy. I am the most tech aware of his three parents and this is my first reddit post. My husband has no tech skills and his ex-wife is not much better. Any advice on how to go about this would be incredibly helpful. We cherish every photo now and would love to see anything, and everything (well, not the d*ck pics), he left behind that is somewhere on the internet. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 16 May 2020 03:30 AM PDT Like the title says when I plug my stupid gas station "Vuse" vape into my computer I get some lag. This has happened on my Chromebook as well as my Windows desktop. It's kind of weird. Could someone who vapes this device with more skill than I please check this out. The last thing I need is some stupid back door from my stupid vape on my network. Electrical shock from laptop charger? Posted: 16 May 2020 03:07 AM PDT My friend experienced an electrical shock which actually threw him away by a meter and he fell on the ground. This happened when he was trying to plug the charger into the laptop. the charger was plugged to the wall socket. He got a tiny burn blister on his finger too. Experienced body aches for a day on the left side of the body. I never thought a charger could cause such a shock that makes a person fall to the ground. What needs to be done now, regarding the laptop ad the charger? What might be the exact reason for such a big shock? I know everyone experiences a tiny prick kind of sensation every now and then. But this? [link] [comments] |
How to complelty remove wondershare filmora? Posted: 15 May 2020 11:17 PM PDT So, alot of youtubers got sponsored by wondershare, so I thought I'd give it a try. Dumb me, forgot to research before I installed it, and now I can't possibly sems to be able to uninstall it. I tried everything, I went into "Apps & Features" wanted to unsintall it, and boom. Error. Those errors are always appearing when I try to unsintall it. I am scared for my PC, as it is stillq uite new. i#ve ran several virus scans, which said 0 threast, yet still, all new errors that appear, have something to do with wondershare. [link] [comments] |

Why does android need blobs for different hardware and PCs don't? Posted: 15 May 2020 11:28 PM PDT Hello I am interested in the technical side of android and how it works so I read about it and I still don't fully understand blobs. one of the questions I have is why does android need them if Linux and Windows don't require you to get them every time you have new hardware? From what I know, Android is based on the Linux kernel so isn't it supposed to work the same way? [link] [comments] |

What is a good gaming desktop for under $2000 Posted: 15 May 2020 09:57 PM PDT I'm a casual gamer, I don't have too much time to play because of school but I'd like opinions on a good PC, preferably less than $2000. I've been looking into Dell G5s and Alienware but I'm honestly not sure. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |

Are the Sony WH1000X M3s worth €319? Posted: 15 May 2020 10:09 AM PDT So these would be my first pair of proper premium headphones and just about in my price range but are they worth that much? [link] [comments] |
Does the type and length of coaxial cable affect internet speeds when connecting to the modem? Posted: 15 May 2020 04:38 PM PDT MORE INFO: Looking to reorganize my internet setup and move it from one corner of the house to a more open space along with the router. In order to do so, I need to buy a ~75 foot coax cable. Questions
I'm doing this for my own home (non-commercial) and from what I've gathered so far, 75 feet isn't the end of the world in terms of quality loss and I should be looking for "RG6." That's all I know. Looking for confirmations, debunks, or any other suggestions. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Does Slack & Facebook share data? (Third sub trying to post this without getting removed) Posted: 15 May 2020 12:23 PM PDT I use Slack for my work to talk to my supervisor and colleagues, and my supervisor made a comment saying "hanging with the saved Koalas" in reference to something else - I responded with a little koala emoji-then I go onto Facebook on my phone and scroll down and immediately see an ad video of cute koalas at a wildlife park. Is Slack and Facebook connected - and if so my Facebook ad preferences are turned off (not allowing data from FB partners) Is this just a coincidence? I didn't audibly say the word koala either, so I dunno if that matters. just weird. Also my work has NOTHING to do with koalas or animals, I work in a video post-production company. Shouldn't we cover our smartphone front cams like were advised to cover our webcams on our laptops? Posted: 15 May 2020 08:35 AM PDT We know how the first thing we're told when it comes to security is always cover your webcams, but I've never come across an advice to cover our phones front cams too? Are front cams on smartphones more secure than the webcams? [link] [comments] |

Found a weird microchip in a very strange location. Could you help me identify it? Posted: 15 May 2020 07:42 AM PDT Hello I found this very suspicious chip in this weird container that kinda looks like a valve thing to regulate airflow. But there is no place for the air to go, it's just glued to the bottom of the pipe/bong thing. And inside that is a chip. It's orange and round, with one side having a silver sticker or something that says "HB-05". And on the other side there is classical wirepads or what you call them. You know like a stereotypical chip is usually illustrated. WTF is this shit? Is it NFC? RFID? a weird microphone? A GPS sender? Some kind of tracking shit or is it just a weirdly placed alarm RFID thing that is supposed to notify if someone walks out the door with it? Also I cannot post pictures here Apparently, is there some way I can upload pics to attach? [link] [comments] |
