| Posted: 14 Feb 2020 05:21 PM PST Hello there ! I am part of a youth organization and we wish to setup a Rocket.Chat server to host and manage all our project conversations. As far as we looked, we are confident about the fact that we can configure it all once it is online. That said, bringing it to life and making it accessible for everyone is one hell of a challenge for us as we have literally no knowledge in terms of hosting. So here I am asking for your help. How should we proceed? We are looking for some steps/guidelines and the ones on rocket.chat's website seem too complicated to us. Furthermore, while the playlist we found on Youtube is interesting, we are unsure of how to work around and host CentOS or Ubuntu. We have heard of Raspberry Pi, and as much as it impressed us, we are still unsure of what that is. General info: - We live in Canada - We own a domain that does not have a SSL certificate (That's another wonderful difficulty we are dealing with) - We're looking for hosting solutions and plans that are affordable yet capable of keeping up with an app like Rocket.Chat and for ways to set them up. Posted: 14 Feb 2020 07:51 PM PST Hello, I've been using a cheap $15 mpow Bluetooth transmitter from my TV to my Bluetooth headphones for a while now. Lately I've been getting a bit of static or weird interference noise so I've decided to replace it. Are there any major benefits to going with a more expensive (~$50-75) transmitter, or should I stick with a cheapo from the Amazon forest? Would audio quality improve noticeably, especially in music? Posted: 14 Feb 2020 02:45 PM PST Not sure if I'm working this correctly, but why do we need cellular service to make calls when you could just make calls on cellular data? FaceTime uses data, we stream high fidelity audio on data, so why don't we just merge phone calls into data? We can already do WiFi calling. It only seems like the logical next step. No matter what kind or what size my torrent file is, it just doesn't progress. I'm running windows 10 on an acer travelmate w 4gb ram. processor is 1.7GHz intel i3. We use google calendar to schedule folks at a makerspace I work with, and I don't want everyones' shifts visible to me as they are on the shared calendar-just the ones for myself visible on my regular google calendar/account. I work at a seperate makerspace with a bunch of programmers and folks who I'm sure could figure this out, but I feel like an ass even asking because I suspect I could figure it out on my own. Posted: 14 Feb 2020 08:17 AM PST Hi I hope this is the right subreddit for this, I have two videos that are .iso files that I can watch on my mac with the downloaded VLC media player app. The videos are two view angles of the same event and have the same duration. I'm trying to find a way to watch them both side by side at the same time so that they play and pause together, basically combining them into one video with a split screen. Any ideas? | Samsung t5 ssd software removal Posted: 14 Feb 2020 06:22 AM PST Like the title I have a 500gb Samsung t5 ssd and I want to get rid of the software on it and use it like a normal hard drive. I asked here about five months ago and was told to format it but that done nothing and I eventually gave up. I still can't find any solution to do this and now I've forgotten the password and can't even use it at all. If I Google it all I get is how to uninstall the software from my pc. Another solution was to go to C:/programdata and delete Samsungapps but its not there anyway. Is there actually a way to get rid of this? According to the Samsung website if I lose the password I actually have to take it somewhere to get wiped. This whole thing is ridiculous, is there anything that can be done at all?
